Test Pattern
The SAT is a standardized test widely used by colleges and universities for admissions purposes. It assesses students' critical thinking ability, comprehension skills, and proficiency in mathematics. The test consists of three main sections: Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, Math, and an optional Essay. Here's an overview of the test pattern:
Evidence-Based Reading and Writing:
● Tests reading comprehension, grammar, and vocabulary.
● Includes passages from literature, history, social studies, and science.
● Measures ability to analyze and interpret texts.
Math:
● Covers arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and data analysis.
● Tests problem-solving skills and mathematical reasoning.
● Includes multiple-choice and grid-in questions.
Essay (Optional):
● Evaluates the student's ability to analyze and construct arguments.
● Provides an opportunity to showcase writing skills and logical reasoning.
Mock Examinations
Regular mock exams simulate real SAT conditions, allowing students to gauge their progress and familiarize themselves with the test format. Flexible Schedule: While adhering to a predetermined schedule, adjustments can be made based on the instructor’s discretion and class consensus. Graded Assessments: Grades are based on participation, homework assignments, in-class quizzes, and performance on mock exams, providing students with feedback on their progress.
